It’s been a while since I’ve done a beauty post recommendation. My skin lately has been on point (and before I go any further – healthy living (clean food and no smoking) and drinking lots of water has played a significant role in that), I wanted to share my picks that have made my skin look so amazing, I don’t need filters.
Cleanser: Shiseido – White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam
This is a pricey cleanser – it retails for $40. However, after one use, I felt my skin was brighter and more refreshed. For a splurge, I recommend it.
Toner: Thayers Witch Hazel Toner with Aloe Vera
I recently started using Thayers and I can’t speak enough praises about this. My skin is clear, non-irritated, and smoother. I put just a little on cotton balls and swipe over my face. Love it. And I love the price more: $8.99
Serum: Physician’s Formula Rosé All Day Oil-Free Serum
You only need a few swipes of this to brighten your face. And a little goes a long way! And it’s cheap! Only $9.99
Eye Cream: Confidence in an Eye Cream
This is another pricey option, coming in at a whopping $38.00. However, it makes your eyes look fresher and smoother. While I still recommend a cup of coffee to wake you up, I also recommend this eye cream.
Moisturizer: Shea Moisture African Black Soap Balancing Moisturizer
To be honest, my jury is still out on this moisturizer. I like how thick it is, so I don’t use a whole lot. But I’m still wondering how moisturized my skin is with this.
Sometimes after I put it on, it still feels a bit dry. But other times, it feels like my face is swimming in moisture. Go figure. The price is super nice, averaging around $10.99.
